Uodate: I’ve added specific dates we need help with. We just welcomed our second on 2/17, and are looking for someone who can occasionally step in to help me out looking after our 2 year old after daycare hours. Occasionally I might ask you to hold or feed the baby if I need to be hands on with the toddler, but this is primarily a one kid job as you’ll never be asked to watch both kids at once. If you have a flexible schedule on week and weekends, this is a great gig for you! Bonus points if you live close to Alamo Square. We will also need help for May and June but I don’t know the dates just yet. If things go well this could extend to full time work come summer when her daycare is on break (July-August). Dates: Thursday 4/2 after school (4-7/7:30) Friday 4/3 after school (4-7/7:30) Saturday 4/4 any time, just a handful of hours before or after her nap to take her outside to play Wednesday 4/15 after school (4-7/7:30) Thursday 4/16 after school (4-7/7:30) Saturday 4/18 same as before, any time Wednesday 4/22 after school (4-7/7:30) Thursday 4/23 after school (4-7/7:30) Friday 4/24 after school (4-7/7:30) Saturday 4/26, any time Responsibilities include: - Picking toddler up from daycare - Taking toddler to the park/playground. We live right on Alamo square, so taking her to the playground after would be a great post daycare or weekend activity. - Playing or reading with toddler - Helping feed toddler. I will likely have meals prepped or food that can easily be served. You would be my second hands while I’m juggling baby and toddler - Getting toddler ready for bed (pajamas, bedtime story, prepping milk bottle) - As mentioned, given that my toddler might need adjustment time to get used to someone new, I may need to be hands on with her and hand off the baby to you. This means you’re comfortable holding a newborn and changing a diaper if needed.
