About this nanny job

We are a warm and caring family seeking an experienced, full-time nanny to join us in mid-April. The primary responsibility will be caring for our infant son, who will be six months at the time of hire, with additional support for our 2.5-year-old daughter. Schedule: -45 hours per week -Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM -Flexibility required for occasional schedule adjustments (earlier or later start times) with advance notice Responsibilities: -Provide attentive, loving care for our infant -Daily school pick-up for our 2.5-year-old at 3:00 PM and occasional drop-off at 9AM as well as support additional after-school activities as she grows -Care for 2.5-year-old on non-school days -Plan and lead age-appropriate, engaging activities for both children -Children’s laundry -Maintain organization of children’s bedrooms and play areas -Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the children ****Please note: We live in a third-floor walk-up apartment. School pick-up requires climbing four flights of stairs (no elevator), and the baby will accompany you during pick-up.**** Qualifications: -Prior professional nanny experience required -Strong infant care background -Minimum of three professional references -CPR certification -Reliable and consistently punctual -Warm, patient, and attentive demeanor -Clear and direct communicator -Physically comfortable navigating multiple flights of stairs daily -Spanish-speaking candidates and those interested in introducing Spanish to the children are highly encouraged to apply.
