Newborn Care Specialist / Newborn-Experienced Nanny (Mother’s Helper) — UWS — Start ASAP We’re seeking a warm, calm, highly experienced newborn caregiver to support a stay-at-home mom and our 7-week-old baby girl on the Upper West Side (start ASAP). We’re a bilingual Spanish/English family. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm (some flexibility). Location: UWS, 2nd-floor walk-up, ~5 min from the 1/2/3. Baby: 7 weeks old, moderate reflux (not currently medicated). Exclusively breastfed (bottled breast milk only if needed). Insanely cute. Responsibilities: - Newborn care alongside mom; soothing, diapering, naps, age-appropriate play (tummy time, walks, etc.) - Reflux-aware care (upright time after feeds, frequent burping, comfort with tracking feeds/sleep) - Help support breastfeeding routine (positioning support, set-up/clean-up) - Light baby/family support: laundry, tidying, light meal prep, nursery/bedtime reset - Occasional local errands (e.g., groceries basics) Requirements: - Certified NCS or significant newborn experience (please specify ages and length of roles) - Demonstrated comfort with reflux / fussy feeding routines - Infant CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain promptly) - Fluent English (Spanish a plus) - Strong references from families with infants - Nice-to-have: Ability to join occasional national/international travel (optional/TBD).
