We are a Walnut Creek family with three young kids looking for a friendly, responsible family assistant / babysitter for part-time help during the week. This role is ideal for someone looking for 10–15 flexible hours per week plus occasional evening babysitting. Our kids: Logan (4.5 years old – energetic, loves playing outside and building things) Parker (10 months old – happy baby) Maddie (6 yo - older sibling who may occasionally be around during summer) Schedule Typical schedule would include: Tuesday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (care for Logan and Parker) Friday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (care for Parker) One evening per week (ideally Wednesday) Date-night babysitting (putting all 3 kids to bed) During the summer we may occasionally add extra hours if you're interested. Responsibilities Playing with our preschooler (parks, outdoor play, activities) Caring for our baby (feeding, naps, stroller walks) Preparing simple snacks or lunches for the kids Light tidying of play areas Helping with bedtime routine on date nights Ideal Candidate Enjoys engaging with young kids Responsible and dependable Comfortable caring for infants and preschoolers Has reliable transportation CPR/first aid certification is a plus (not required) Pay Competitive hourly pay depending on experience.
