About this nanny job

We’re looking for someone who is confident working independently with an infant while keeping the environment calm and supportive. Both parents have flexible work schedules, so will have to manage the baby independently during work hours while also being around the parents. Responsibilities include: • Infant care (diapers, bottle feeding, bathing, soothing) • Age-appropriate play (tummy time, reading, talking, singing) • Baby food/formula prep • Taking the baby out for walks and/or story-time, library etc • Baby-related tidying (bottles, laundry, toys etc.) • No screen time for baby ⸻ Requirements • Must love children, be trustworthy and understand child development • Experience with infants (2–3+ years preferred) • CPR/First Aid certified • Up-to-date on standard vaccines (including Covid, Flu, TDAP) • Responsible, punctual, and dependable • Preferably have their own car and can drive baby, if needed • Kind, engaging, and able to support early development • Non-smoker • References from recent families What We’re Looking For Someone warm, patient, and attentive who enjoys caring for infants and can follow routines smoothly. We may require additional assistance on an occasional basis at weeknights/weekends but will always provide ample headsup. As a way to get to know you, please give us an example of how you handle a baby when they are fighting sleep.
