Seeking After-School Babysitter (Sunnyvale) – 5-Year-Old We’re looking for a warm, reliable babysitter for our 5-year-old son, Axel. Hours: Mon–Thurs, 2–5 PM, Fri, 12.30pm-5 PM, starting ASAP. Phase 1 (immediate): Pick him up after school, spend ~1 hour doing simple tabletop activities (materials provided), then keep him engaged with outings like the library or park. Phase 2 (after school clearance): Once fingerprinting and immunization requirements are completed, the sitter will shadow him at the school’s after-school care program. This is interim support while we secure an ABA therapist for each weekday. The schedule may adjust by day as therapists are assigned, but there may also be opportunity to extend. Ideal: Experience with young children; ABA/special needs experience a plus. Fingerprinting costs will be covered. Must be able to drive Axel in the sitter’s own car.
