About this nanny job

We are a multi-cultural family (Brazil/US) that enjoys gardening, reading, swimming, cooking, impromptu family dance parties and spending time outdoors. One of us works fully remote at home and the other works part time at home, in separate areas. We absolutely love being parents to our social and active baby girl, who will be 12 months old in May. About the position -Start date: Mid May -Duration: One year assignment with possibility of extension -Days: Monday to Friday, hours TBD (between 40-45 hours) -Location: Seward Park, Seattle Compensation -$30/hour-$35/hour -Guaranteed hours -Benefits include paid holidays, sick days, health stipend and generous vacation days Requirements -Fully vaccinated and up to date on vaccines -Non-smoker -Have reliable transportation owned by nanny -CPR/first aid certified -Clean background check -Share at least 2 references from other families with kids of similar age -Willing to do trial days -Strongly Preferred: Portuguese language Nanny expectations and responsibilities: -We are looking for a nanny who is warm, emotionally attuned to our child’s needs and provides patient, safe and loving care -Promote age appropriate skills and engaging play, including spending quality time outdoors on a regular basis -We value punctuality and open/direct communication -Timely diaper changes, light baby-related housekeeping such as baby laundry, baby food prep, picking up toys, washing baby dishes -Support no screen time, including minimizing your own cell phone use
