About this nanny job

Full-time nanny or in-home caregiver needed to care for my child in our home while I attend school full time. The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday approximately 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Hours may occasionally vary slightly depending on my school schedule, so flexibility is appreciated. My child is a toddler who is curious, active, and enjoys interactive play, books, and outdoor time. I am looking for someone reliable, patient, and nurturing who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and helping them learn and grow. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with my child throughout the day, preparing simple meals and snacks, reading, playing, and using learning materials that I will provide to encourage age-appropriate development. I would also like the caregiver to take my child outside for walks or trips to the park when the weather allows and to help maintain a clean play area by tidying up toys and cleaning up after meals and activities. All activities will take place at home or nearby parks within walking distance, so driving is not required. Reliability and punctuality are very important since this care is needed during my school hours. The ideal caregiver is dependable, attentive, and comfortable creating a positive and engaging daily routine. Experience caring for young children is strongly preferred. This position will be supported through a state childcare assistance program, so the caregiver must be willing to complete a simple registration process with the state, including a background check and basic paperwork, in order to receive payment through the program. This is a full-time position and we are hoping to find someone interested in a consistent, long-term role and who can become a supportive and positive presence in our child’s daily routine.
