About this nanny job

We’re a friendly family in SE Portland looking for a reliable babysitter for our two kids, a 4-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. Most of the time, we’re looking for help with date nights, likely once a week or every other week in the evenings. The job would usually involve playing with the kids for a bit, helping with bedtime routines, and then relaxing while they sleep until we get home. We’d also love to find someone who could occasionally help with other evening or daytime needs as they come up, so flexibility is a plus. We’re happy to be flexible on days and timing as well to make things work for the right person and to find a great fit for our kids. We’re hoping to find someone dependable who enjoys working with toddlers and infants and who may be interested in becoming our family’s regular sitter. We’d love to build a long-term relationship with someone our kids get to know well. Preferred qualifications: • Non-smoker • CPR certified, or willing to obtain certification • Experience with toddlers and infants Pay range: $22 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. We’re an easygoing, kid-focused household, and we’d love to find someone our kids feel comfortable with and excited to see. Our kids are active and playful, to the point that we even built an indoor rock wall for them, so we’d love someone who enjoys energetic little ones. Looking forward to meeting you!
