About this nanny job

We are a friendly family in Bothell looking for a warm, patient, and engaging part-time nanny to care for our 18-month-old son, Franklin. Schedule: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM (2.5 hours each morning) About Franklin: Franklin is a happy and curious toddler who loves books, music, and exploring the world around him. He typically naps in the afternoon, so this role focuses on engaging play and learning activities during the morning. Responsibilities: • Engage Franklin in creative play and age-appropriate activities • Read books and encourage early language development • Introduce music through singing, dancing, or simple instruments • Take Franklin outside for walks or playground time (with parents’ permission) • Prepare simple snacks if needed • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment • Tidy up toys and play areas after activities Our Ideal Nanny: • Speaks English • No screen time while caring for Franklin • Patient, kind, and attentive to toddlers’ emotions • Creative and enjoys interactive play • Comfortable reading books, singing songs, and encouraging learning through play • Communicates well with parents and asks before taking Franklin outside • Prior toddler experience preferred Nice to Have: • CPR / First Aid certification • Previous nanny or childcare experience • References from prior families Location: Bothell, WA (near Canyon Park) If you enjoy engaging with toddlers and helping them learn through play, we would love to hear from you.
