I’m a single dad in healthcare with a rotating 7-on/7-off schedule and 50/50 custody of my two boys, ages 3 and 4. I need a dependable, experienced nanny for my weeks with the kids to help with afternoon and evening care, plus occasional weekend support. This is a flexible, part-time role perfect for someone who loves working with young children and can adapt to a rotating schedule. The Schedule ∙ Weekday afternoons (every other week): Daycare pick-up and bringing the boys home ∙ Evening care (every other week): Dinner, bath time, and bedtime routine ∙ Weekend help (occasional): Watching the boys when I have errands or personal commitments ∙ Evening babysitting (as needed): Help during occasional evenings when I have commitments This role runs on a predictable every-other-week rotation, easy to plan ahead, but reliability and clear communication are key. What You’ll Be Doing ∙ Safe pick-up from daycare and transportation home. Car seats provided. ∙ Preparing and serving dinner ∙ Supervising and engaging both boys during afternoon and evening hours ∙ Managing bath time and bedtime routine ∙ Maintaining consistent discipline: the boys are expected to show respect, follow instructions, and behave appropriately ∙ Planning age-appropriate activities during downtime ∙ Keeping me informed about how the boys are doing What I’m Looking For ∙ Experience with toddlers and young children (ages 1-6) ∙ Valid license and clean driving record. Safe driving is non-negotiable. ∙ Knowledgeable with car seats and child passenger safety ∙ Consistent with discipline, firm but kind ∙ Reliable and communicative given the rotating schedule ∙ CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) ∙ Strong personal references and background check required About Our Home I’m raising two active, sweet, and curious boys who love to explore and have a lot of love to give.
