About this nanny job
We’re seeking after-school care for our creative, friendly, minimally verbal, autistic 5.5yr old son. The job begins May 1. The ideal candidate has experience with autistic kids, a gentle yet engaging personality, and enjoys arts and crafts. Our son requires support with communication, flexibility, and staying on task. Responsibilities include meeting him at the school bus (during school year), picking him up from camp (during summer), taking him to speech and OT, preparing simple meals, overseeing ABA sessions, taking him out in the community, and providing potty reminders and assistance. Punctuality and clear communication are essential. This is a W2 position at $39/hr for 19hrs/wk during the school year and 17hrs/wk during the summer. Schedule: Mon/Tue/Fri 2:00–5:30 PM, Wed 12:45–5:30 PM (school year), Wed 2:45-5:30 PM (Jun 8-Aug 14), Thu 1:45-5:30 PM. Must pass a Live Scan check and clock in/out online.Nanny job details
