About this nanny job

I am looking for an energetic kind fun person to take care of my two energetic, fun and kind children. 80% of this job is from 2:30 PM until 7:30 PM during the week where a babysitter would help my daughter with her homework play with the kids help put the dinner on the table and clean up after everyone. Occasionally, I work on the weekends so I would need somebody for a full day during which I always buy museum tickets or movie tickets or have activities planned for all three of you to enjoy. Our caretaker must love dogs. We have a 75 pound Labrador, who is as sweet as can be, but has as much energy as my children do. I do not need the nanny to take care of the dog, but if they were capable and interested, that would be wonderful (as in if you take the kids to the beach, or you all go hiking you take the dog too). I always have dinner, plated, and in the refrigerator for the Babysitter to heat up and serve to the kids and they will always be extra food if the babysitter chooses to eat as well. I always try to have food in the house that accommodates everyone eating there so if there are dietary restrictions, I would ensure foods that our caretaker would enjoy. I am a single mother with nearly full custody of my two kids. I worked Freelance in the film business so I never know my schedule a month in advance, but I will always know two weeks in advance in order to give someone dates. Hours of need come closer to the work date, but I will guarantee a number of hours, so as to make the workday worth someone’s while. In other words last week I worked four days I needed someone to come from 6:30 AM to 8 AM to get the kids off to school and then come back 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM for the post school care. This week I’m only working two days and the hours would be similar. When I work on the weekends, I try to have a family member take the kids, but if it’s not possible then I usually need someone to come at 9 AM and stay until I get home from work (between 7:30 and 9pm) My kids are easy to engage if someone is driven with ideas they are like any preteen. They would prefer to be left alone on device devices. They are not permitted to use them during the week. The kids get one hour of television or video games a night otherwise it’s homework or games or outdoor play. The person for our family is someone who is driven by outdoor activity, a strong work ethic, is reliable, and is playful.
