We are a family-run restaurant, and I’m very fortunate to be able to have my son with me during work hours. However, I’m looking for a caring, patient, and engaging caregiver to spend time with him for about 4–5 hours a day. My son is 5 years old and is on the autism spectrum (high-functioning). He is sweet, curious, and fairly independent, but he does need consistent adult supervision, guidance, and someone actively engaged with him. The role would involve keeping him entertained and stimulated in a positive way this can include taking him to the park, playing with him, doing educational activities (flashcards, books, games), and occasionally staying with him at the restaurant where he has his own space. In addition to the restaurant, you may also spend time with him at our home, which has a large front yard for outdoor play. I will be preparing his meals, and overall I try to keep things very flexible and supportive for both my son and the caregiver. I’m looking for someone who is: • Patient and attentive • Comfortable working with children on the spectrum (or willing to learn) • Energetic and creative with activities • Focused on limiting screen time and encouraging learning and play The goal is to make sure he is engaged, learning, and having fun not just on a tablet or phone. We are a warm, family-oriented environment and would love someone who can become a positive and consistent presence in his day.Nanny job details
