Seeking Gap/Part-time Nanny - *April start date* Hi! We are a 78748 South Austin family. We're seeking a flexible, loving, playful, and attentive gap/part-time nanny for our 2 year old son and 4 month old daughter. We are shift workers (nurse and firefighter) so we need help on days that our schedules overlap. That could either be a half day shift or full 12 hour shift any day of the week. So it will include a weekend day a couple times a month. This is a flexible position. Our schedules shift weekly and could mean needing 1-4 days of help a week just depending on that week, but we will know our schedule 8 weeks at a time about a month ahead of time so you will be able to fill in with other babysitting jobs. Open to having 2 people share the position for flexibility. I work from home so will be onsite with you. Possible Schedule: Half day: 7:45AM – 11:30AM/12PM Full day: 7:45AM-8:15PM Pay: $25/hr (willing to discuss rate) Key Responsibilities: - Engage in age-appropriate activities (reading, crafts, outdoor play, play dates) - Prepare meals and snacks, wash bottles/dishes associated with care that day - Keep play areas and belongings tidy - Foster a safe, positive, and engaging environment Requirements: - CPR certified - Consent to a background check - Clean driving record and reliable transportation - At least 2 years of childcare experience and experience with babies less than 6 months as well (references required) - Non-smoker - Comfortable with dogs These are dates we need coverage for through 05/09 until next round of scheduling soon: 04/22 Wednesday 7:45am-11:30am 04/25 Saturday 7:45am-11:30am 04/28 Tuesday 7:45am-11:30am 05/01 Friday 7:45am-11:30am Send me a message with interest and questions!
