About this nanny job

I’m looking for a reliable, upbeat babysitter for my 12-year-old son, for occasional date nights and backup coverage when our regular nanny isn’t unavailable. He is a fun, funny, big-hearted kid who’s active, goofy, and full of energy. He has diagnosed ADHD, autism, and some intellectual delays, but he’s fairly high functioning and independent. He does best with sitters who are patient, engaging, and have a fun, positive personality that can match his energy. I’m ideally looking for someone local who is dependable, has their own car, a valid driver’s license, and is comfortable driving with him. Experience working with kids with special needs is a big plus. It’s important that you’re energetic, playful, and able to connect with him in a positive way. Scheduling will vary, but I have an immediate need on 3/26 from 3:00–7:00 PM. There may also be occasional school pickups in Concord around 2:30 PM with care until about 5:30 PM, along with some evenings and weekends for date nights or backup coverage. I’m hoping to find someone who will be a great personality fit for Bodie and can build a consistent, positive relationship over time.
