About this nanny job

We're seeking a long-term nanny who loves working with babies (1-2 years old), is physically strong (our baby is 27 lbs and squirmy!), is a consistent communicator who gives advance notice if plans change, and is preferably based in Upper Manhattan or convenient commuting distance to Hudson Heights. CPR training is preferred. Responsibilities: ensure baby safety - watch our 1 year old - prepare food - mix formula - feed - diaper changes - oversee nap schedule / put down to nap - do the above independently while we're working, and keep Huckleberry updated - playing - taking walks - reading books - light house work related to the baby (cleaning / sanitizing bottles and pumps, cleaning and putting away baby clothes, putting away toys, cleaning baby dishes, etc). For safety reasons, we ask that you provide some form of ID with home address and full name, as well as 2-3 references. Our beloved previous nanny was with us for 8 months before returning to corporate, and can provide a reference for us too. We like to do a (fully paid) trial day before moving forward, to make sure it feels right for everyone.
