About this nanny job

I am looking for a warm, reliable, and fun summer nanny for my two younger kids (ages 4 and 6.5) from June 8 – August 14. Schedule: - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM - Guaranteed minimum of 25 days - Some additional days available if you’re interested No care needed: 7/9 and 7/13 (There may be a couple other days I don’t need coverage, but I’ll communicate those in advance.) About the Kids - 4-year-old girl – easygoing, loves helping in the kitchen, playing, biking/scootering, and will absolutely bring the sass when tired or hungry (same) - 6.5-year-old boy – active, creative, ADHD/neurospicy, thrives with engagement and outdoor play (loves cars, swimming, being on the move) I also have an 8-year-old who will be at camp during the day. Looking For I’d love someone who is creative, engaged, and excited to get out and do things while also being responsible, patient, and dependable. Hoping for someone who enjoys: - Planning simple activities, crafts, or games - Getting outside regularly - Keeping kids engaged in a fun, structured way Activities & Outings I’d like the kids out of the house at least 2 days/week. Options include: - Neighborhood playground (10–15 min walk) - Library - Pool (we have an Apex pass) - Any other fun ideas you have! You can drive your own car with our car seats or use my car. Responsibilities Childcare: - Playtime, activities, and general supervision - Preparing snacks and lunch - Encouraging fun, light learning (reading, writing, math) Household (kid-related + light help): - Tidying kitchen and kids’ areas - Loading/unloading dishwasher - Taking out trash - Kids’ laundry Ideal Candidate - Experience with young kids (bonus if you’re comfortable with neurodivergency) - Reliable, communicative, & proactive - Enjoys being active & engaged with kids - Has a valid driver’s license A Bit About Us I work from home (usually nearby at a friend’s or coffee shop during the day). I’m looking for someone who can step in & confidently run the day while keeping things fun and positive. My husband/the kids’ dad passed away unexpectedly last June. This will be our first full summer without him and when I’ll be working full-time. The kids are generally doing well, but this will be a different summer than they’ve had in the past. We also have a one year old puppy. She’s friendly and VERY energetic. She’s happy either outside or in her crate. I will reach out for phone/video interviews in mid to late April.
