Our home follows a very intentional, holistic lifestyle, and we are seeking someone who genuinely aligns with these values — not just supervision, but active, present caregiving. Our environment & values: • Waldorf/Montessori-inspired approach to early childhood (Reggio Emilia-inspired as well) • No TV/screens during the day • Outdoor play and nature time are a daily priority • Active, hands-on engagement (reading, creative play, exploration) • Clean eating and proper hygiene are important in our home • Calm, respectful, and nurturing guidance Important details: • I work from home and will be present in the house during working hours • Cameras are installed in common areas for safety and transparency • We have a 13-year-old female pit bull who is extremely gentle and affectionate Household boundary (important): We are a non–organized religion household and ask that caregivers respect this by not introducing or teaching religious beliefs, practices, or agendas to our child. We fully respect individual personal beliefs; we simply ask that childcare remain neutral and child-centered in this area. We are seeking someone who: • Is attentive and fully present (minimal phone use while working) • Enjoys being outdoors and keeping up with an active toddler • Is warm, patient, and emotionally attuned • Shares values around holistic living and mindful childcare • Is comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals/snacks if needed • Views caregiving as an intentional and meaningful role Experience with Montessori, Waldorf, homeschool environments, Reggio Emilia, or nature-based learning is a strong plus.
