About this nanny job

Hi there, My partner and I are currently looking for a nanny to support our family, and we'd love to share a bit about us and what we're looking for. We live in Houston, TX near downtown, and we're first-time parents to our daughter, Zy'la, who is currently 8 months old and will be turning 9 months at the beginning of May. As new parents, we've decided we're not quite comfortable enrolling her in daycare just yet, so we're looking for in-home support during the day. My partner is a middle school piano teacher, and I work from home as a Director of Alliances for a telecom/UCaaS company. My workdays are typically filled with back-to-back meetings, so we're looking for someone who can take the lead on Zy'la's daytime routine while I'm working. Ideally, we're looking for help for about 4-6 hours per day (timing may vary slightly depending on my schedule). Responsibilities would include caring for Zy'la, keeping her on a consistent schedule (feeding, naps, playtime), and occasionally taking her on outings like story time or sing-alongs at the local library. We're hoping to find someone who is nurturing, reliable, and experienced with infants, and who feels comfortable creating a safe, engaging environment for her to learn and grow
