We are a warm, active family of four in Edgewater, Maryland seeking a full-time nanny to join our family Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. We have two children — a spirited 3-year-old who attends pre-K and summer camp, and a 1-year-old — and we are looking for someone who genuinely loves kids and shows up every day with energy, intention, and heart. This is not a passive supervision role; we want someone who takes pride in planning activities, getting outside, doing arts and crafts, and making ordinary days feel special. Daily responsibilities include engaging, activity-based care for both children, light lunch preparation, tidying up after meals, and keeping playrooms clean and organized. No driving is required — we are walking distance to a park and local amenities, making this a very manageable day-to-day setup. We offer competitive compensation, two weeks paid vacation, paid sick days, and the potential for optional paid travel with our family on select trips. Reliability and punctuality are everything in this role — our family runs on a schedule and we need someone we can count on completely, every single day. The ideal candidate knows how to hold loving, consistent boundaries with a strong-willed toddler, enforces manners and respect with warmth rather than rigidity, and creates a safe, fun, nurturing environment where both of our kids feel celebrated.
