Part-Time Nanny Sought – Seattle | 4–5 Year Old | Enrichment-Focused We're a warm, active family in Seattle looking for a dedicated part-time nanny for our 4-year-old. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves this age — curious, imaginative, full of energy — and brings their own enthusiasm for learning through play. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, approx. 3–4 hours per afternoon Start date: flexible / ideal April 6 2026 Compensation: $30–$35/hour, paid legally with guaranteed hours What the role looks like: Afternoons will be a mix of outdoor adventures, creative projects, and imaginative play. We want our child to be engaged, not just entertained. A typical week might include a trip to a local park or nature spot, an art or music activity at home, and active movement — dance, obstacle courses, whatever sparks joy that day. We're also a multilingual-curious household and would love a nanny who naturally weaves in language exposure (Spanish or Italian a big plus, but not required). Household responsibilities (child-related only): — Child's laundry — Tidying play areas after activities — Simple meal or snack prep for our child Who we're looking for: — Warm, creative, and genuinely energized by time with young children — Comfortable outdoors in all Seattle weather (yes, including drizzle) — Reliable, communicative, and self-directed — we trust you to run the afternoon — CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified — Valid driver's license and comfortable driving to activities — Experience with 3–5 year olds preferred Nice to have: — Background in early childhood, art, music, or outdoor education — Spanish or Italian language skills — References from families with children in this age range This is a dedicated (non-share) position with a family that values consistency and relationship.
