We are seeking a reliable, energetic caregiver to support our 19‑month‑old in a bilingual (Spanish‑English) home. The ideal candidate will be warm, patient, and actively engaged in early childhood development. Household Environment • We have 2 cats and 2 dogs, so the caregiver must not have pet allergies and should be comfortable around animals. • Our home is active and lively; the caregiver should be comfortable in a dynamic environment. Language & Communication • Spanish fluency is required. Our child is learning Spanish, so the caregiver must be able to:• Speak Spanish throughout the day • Introduce new Spanish words • Support early language development through conversation, songs, and play Music & Creative Engagement • Must enjoy music and be comfortable incorporating it into daily activities. • Ability to play piano is a plus, but not required. • Singing, rhythm games, and musical play are strongly encouraged. Energy & Interaction Style • High‑energy, playful, and patient. • Able to keep up with a toddler who is curious, active, and learning rapidly. • Comfortable planning age‑appropriate developmental activities, including:• Sensory play • Outdoor time • Early learning games • Motor‑skill activities Developmental Support The caregiver should be able to: • Encourage language development in Spanish • Support emotional regulation and gentle discipline • Help with early learning milestones (colors, shapes, simple words, routines) • Provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment General Expectations • Prior experience with toddlers is preferred. • Must be dependable, punctual, and communicative. • Comfortable with light child‑related tasks (snacks, tidying play areas, diapering, etc.).
