Seeking Reliable Backup Babysitters (Healthcare Family – Flexible/As-Needed) My husband and I are healthcare professionals in the Oklahoma City area and are looking to build a small list of reliable, trustworthy babysitters who may be available on an as-needed basis, often with short notice. This would be a great opportunity for nurses, CNAs, healthcare students, or other shift workers looking to earn extra money on off days. About the role: - Care for one child in our home - Most commonly needed when our child cannot attend school (for example: mild illness, school closure, etc.) - We will always communicate symptoms clearly in advance so you can decide if you’re comfortable accepting the shift - Typical hours would be weekday daytime hours Ideal candidates: - Comfortable caring for a child who may have mild illness (cold, fever, etc.) - Reliable and able to potentially accept short-notice requests - Able to come to our home (must have reliable transportation) - Prefer someone not needing to bring additional children - CPR/First Aid certified preferred - Childcare or healthcare experience strongly preferred To be considered, please send: - Brief resume or summary of experience - Contact information - 2–3 references - Confirmation you are comfortable with a background check We’re hoping to create a small list of trusted sitters we can contact when needs arise.
