About this nanny job

Hi! We’re a family near Reed College with two boys (ages 5 & 7) and a baby girl due in July. We’re looking for a kind, reliable part-time nanny/mother’s helper to start by June 8–19 to get to know our boys during a gap where camps are short/no camp. After the baby arrives, we’d love ongoing help 8–12 hours/week (weekdays mostly). This may include helping me at home with the baby and/or occasional pickups/dropoffs for the boys (school/camp/activities). For the right person, this role could grow to 20–24+ hours/week in Oct/Nov as I return to part-time work and the boys’ schedules ramp up. Transportation: If you have a safe, reliable car and are comfortable transporting kids, great (we can provide car seats if needed and reimburse mileage). If you prefer not to drive, bike/e-bike pickups could also work depending on the route/schedule. Scheduling: After the initial “get to know you” period, we’re open to either a regular schedule or something flexible planned 2 weeks at a time. We may also offer occasional date night/weekend hours if you want them.
