About this nanny job

We are looking for someone to join our household part time to help with our sweet son Lars. Ideally this would be Monday and Wednesday mornings 9am to 1pm and Fridays 9am to 5pm, but we are flexible on schedule both overall and week-to-week. Currently, my retired parents provide part-time daytime care and I had been planning to watch Lars some days while working, but I was promoted (woo!) and now am struggling to do both (boo!). I mainly work from home and my parents are often around, so we'll be available to answer questions or give a hand if needed. We do have a dog and three cats. Our home is quite big so there is plenty of space for us all. Your day will generally look like waking Lars (he is an angel and sleeps till ~9:30), getting him ready for the day with a quick sponge bath, hanging out with him while he explores the world (tummy time, activity center, going on stroller/carrier walks), helping him get down for naps, and feeding him from a bottle. Lars is generally an easy baby and especially a joy in the mornings! A great fit for us is someone who values flexibility and would be interested in growing with our family (we will likely be looking for full-time care with kid 2)! An added plus is someone who speaks Portuguese (my husband is Brazilian) and would be willing to talk to Lars in Portuguese. Someone happy to help with loading/emptying the bottle washer, picking up toys, and laundry as needed would be ideal.
