About this nanny job

Hi There! We currently have 1 full time nanny during the week and am looking for a 2nd one to work as a team with her caring for 2 children and keeping up with light house keeping. Ideally, I would like someone who has experience in ECE that will spend most of their time with our toddler. Both nannies will be interchangeable with the children but I would like the toddler to have some more focused attention from the person with ECE skills. We spend a lot of time at home and need our nannies to be comfortable with that environment. I like my nannies to walk my toddler to the neighborhood park or the playground and if needed drive them but mostly I prefer if the child needs to be driven somewhere to drive them myself. I am at home during the day and my husband has a flexible schedule that allows him to be at home a lot too. Even though we have ample childcare we like to spend time around our children and need our nannies to be comfortable working in a home where we are present most of the time. We resonate most with RIE parenting- if you're unfamiliar with this style, it's within the gentle parenting scope with an emphasis on respect for the child's feelings while maintaining kind but firm boundaries. I would like someone who can be consistent with this parenting style. Childcare is the main priority, however housekeeping expectations when time allows are loading and unloading the dishwasher, washing dishes, wiping down counters, washing bottles and breast pump parts, laundry, making beds, picking up pet poop from the yard, taking out trash. Emphasis on when time allows. It is not my expectation that you be in charge of a 3 year old that isn't napping anymore and complete all of these tasks in a day. There are 2 nannies and we have found that between the 2 of them, and me, there is ample time for these things to get done. Our family doesn't travel frequently, but when we do we like to bring at least 1 nanny and would like someone who has the flexibility for this.
