Hello There! Thank you for taking time to consider our family! As a chef, my husband often works during peak weekend hours, and my role in law enforcement can also require weekend commitments. Because of this, we’re hoping to find a trustworthy babysitter who can help support our family during those busy times. We have a beautiful, personable, and savvy 3 year old little girl. Our sweet and energetic 4 year old son has a mild autism diagnosis, something that shapes his personality in both subtle and remarkable ways. We are looking for a dependable babysitter to provide care on a consistent, every-other-weekend schedule. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, demonstrate kindness and professionalism, and be highly reliable. A patient and experienced caregiver who is comfortable working with children on the autism spectrum and can confidently support moments of dysregulation or challenging behaviors, is someone who aligns well with our family’s needs. The right fit will reflect resilience and a steady approach when managing these behaviors, maintaining a calm and supportive presence rather than becoming discouraged. We value building a long-term relationship with someone who can become an integral part of our family. Light household help, such as tidying up, dishes, and laundry, would be a helpful bonus, but is not required. We live in a in a modest apartment that’s comfortable, welcoming, and full of love. We’re located in a diverse Greenbelt community and take great pride in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for our children. We hope to find a caregiver who genuinely loves children and has a warm, compassionate heart.
