Full-time nanny needed – Belmont, CA (May start) We’re looking for a full-time nanny in Belmont starting May 2026 to care for our baby, who will be just over 12 months old. This is a long-term role (1 year+) with consistent weekday hours in a calm, respectful home. We're looking for a true partner to help our baby thrive. == About us & the role Location: Belmont, CA (94002) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (40 hrs/week) Start date: Week of May 2 (some flexibility) Pay: $35-45/hour depending on experience. We can guarantee 40 hours/week, as well as PTO and federal holidays. Home setup: We have one infant (no pets). Both parents have a hybrid office and will commute a few days a week. When working from home, they will be in separate office spaces and are usually in meetings throughout the morning and early afternoon. We have a dedicated nursery, bright play space, and outdoor spaces. Our home is quiet and walkable, with nearby parks. We have parking in our driveway and ample free street parking as well. == What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone very experienced with babies and toddlers, and who is warm, attentive, and reliable. You’ll handle bottles, solids, diapering, naps, and age-appropriate activities. As our baby grows, you'll help us navigate transitions like bottle to cup (already doing 1 per day), dropping to 1 nap, and potty training. As parents, we love learning and exploring, and welcome your proactive ideas. == Ideal candidates: Have extensive experience with babies in the 12-24 month range Are confident managing feeding and nap routines Enjoy developmental play and spending time outdoors Will be dependable and timely, especially as we both work full time Communicate clearly and consistently (we would appreciate occasional updates or photos during the day) Would appreciate help during naps with: primarily baby-related tasks (washing bottles, tidying play areas) and minimal light household help (unloading the dishwasher, running the laundry machine 2x/week) Qualifications Infant CPR/first aid certified (or willing to be before start) Up to date on vaccines (Tdap, flu, COVID) Fluent in English Strong recent childcare references Non-smoker Have your own car and can drive the baby to nearby library for storytime, etc. To apply If this sounds like a good fit, please message us with a short introduction, resume, and references.
