About this nanny job

We are looking for a compassionate caretaker, companion for our son. The physical requirements include lifting (up to 60 lbs.) , transferring & managing hygiene/incontinence with dignity. Duties will include feeding, dressing, bathing, and occasional outings. There is a fair amount of time spent on social skills and recreational activities like singing, book reading and taking time to enjoy the outdoors. The client is non-ambulatory, non verbal and very happy. He uses a communication device. We prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping. The ideal candidate should have their own car, non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and must pass a background check & possess a CPR certification at the time of hire. Hours are on weekdays; two early mornings to prep for school & late afternoon to evening after school. Training provided.
