About this nanny job

A warm, busy Bay Area family with three children under four is looking for an experienced nanny to join our household. This role can be part-time or full-time, and short-term or long-term – we are open to what works for the right person. If you are available to travel with us to Europe for approximately four weeks in July, that is a big plus. Tell us what you are looking for when you apply. Responsibilities: - Provide attentive, nurturing care that supports independence, emotional development, and secure attachment - Engage children with age-appropriate activities, enrichment, and outdoor exploration – at home and while traveling - Coordinate closely with parents and other caregivers to ensure consistency of routines and communication - Manage children's logistics: schedules, playdates, nutrition, and supplies Requirements: - 5+ years of childcare experience, including experience with multiples - Reliable, highly organized, and proactive - Valid driver's license and comfortable driving in a city environment - Comfortable with pets - Excellent references from previous childcare families Preferred: - Bilingual in Mandarin or Spanish - Teaching background or ECE credentials - Prior travel experience with a family (domestic or international) - Background in overnight care, sole charge, or ROTA roles - US citizenship (helpful for smoother travel)
