About this nanny job

I’m so happy to have you caring for my daughter, Ava. I wanted to provide you with a clear guide so you know her routine, expectations, and what works best for her. Ava McClellan (also known as “Pretty Girl A”) was born on 08/23/2019. She has no allergies or medical conditions. In case of emergency, please contact Dominique Holoman at [removed], or Brenda Pass at +[removed]. Ava usually wakes up around 8:00–9:00 AM, and she is definitely a morning person. She wakes up in a good mood and is pretty independent. She can feed herself and shower on her own, but you will need to prepare her meals, turn on the shower, and set out her towel and clothes. Ava eats almost everything, but she will let you know if she doesn’t like something. For dinner, please offer what is cooked first. If she does not want it, noodles are an option. She is allowed one sweet treat for dessert. For bedtime during the week, she goes to bed around 8:30 PM. Sometimes she falls asleep with the TV on. Other times, I read her two books while rubbing her hair, which helps her fall asleep. Ava is scared of the dark, so she uses a night light. You may need to sit with her and rub her back for about 10 minutes until she settles. She does not like naps, but she can have quiet time by coloring, watching TV, playing games, or FaceTiming her aunt or best friend. Please do not allow Ava to answer the door. When she is at the park, she needs to be actively supervised. She has a friend named Kinsely who she can play with at home or at the park, and she may also play with other children there. Ava enjoys riding her scooter, going to the park, watching TV, and playing on her tablet. She is not allowed to be driven anywhere unless it is an emergency. Walking her to and from the bus stop is okay. For behavior, positive reinforcement works best. Be clear with her about what is and isn’t okay. If she becomes sassy or disrespectful, you can tell her you will call me, or call me directly—I will always answer. We do not allow disrespect. Ava is smart, energetic, and very charismatic. She communicates well and is not difficult to care for. Thank you so much for taking care of her and helping keep her safe, happy, and comfortable.
