👋🏼 Hi! We’re looking for a long term, reliable and loving nanny to care for our 8 month old son in our home in Carlsbad — ideally starting April 27th. A little bit about our family - we just moved from the SF Bay Area in January of last year and have been living in Carlsbad for a little over a year now, and we absolutely love it! We have a 2 year old golden retriever named Briggs who is the best big brother to our 8 month old son, Jace. Jace is a very smiley and happy baby, and we love to take him everywhere! In our free time as a family, you can find us at the beach, trying a new lunch spot, golfing, or just enjoying the outdoors any way that we can. We are really looking for a nanny who can grow with us and be a part of our family. We would love to find someone who is kind, nurturing, and genuinely loves babies and kiddos. Pay rate: $20-25/hour depending on experience Primary Responsibilities: - Providing attentive, nurturing care for our son, Jace (playtime, feeding, naps, etc.) - Creative and willing to engage in age-appropriate activities to support his development (arts and crafts, sensory activities, etc) - Handling light baby-related housekeeping (washing bottles, tidying toys, baby laundry as needed) Must Haves: - Prior experience caring for infants and a genuine love for babies - Comfortable around dogs (we have a friendly 2-year-old golden retriever) - Timely with reliable transportation - CPR + First Aid certified - Able to provide professional references
