About this nanny job

We are seeking a part-time nanny to join our family and help care for our two wonderful kids — a spirited 5.5-year-old daughter and a busy 2-year-old son. Our daughter has cerebral palsy and is currently working on walking and talking, but don’t let that intimidate you — she is communicative, playful, and loves meeting new people. We are looking for someone who will embrace her fully and engage with both kids with patience, creativity, and joy. No therapy support is required; we simply need someone who is comfortable, confident, and genuinely enthusiastic about caring for a child with special needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include: • Preparing meals and snacks for the kids • School/activity pickup and drop-off • Outdoor play and activities • Light tidying related to the kids (toys, dishes, kids’ spaces) We are looking for someone who is: • Trustworthy, loving, patient, and playful • Experienced with toddlers and children with special needs • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification) • A licensed driver with a clean driving record • Reliable and communicative with parents Our ideal candidate sees this as more than a job — someone who will become a trusted part of our family and a positive presence in our children’s lives.
