About this nanny job

we’re a laid-back family in Rancho Bernardo looking for an extra set of hands a couple afternoons a week. we have a 5-year-old daughter (loves to play, talk, and be outside) and a 20-month-old son (busy, curious, and usually naps early afternoon). my wife is pregnant and will usually be home, but there will definitely be times where you’re fully with the kids so she can rest, run errands, etc. so we’re looking for someone comfortable with both — helping alongside and taking the lead when needed. the flow is typically: hang with our daughter while the toddler naps, then help once he’s up and things get a little more chaotic heading into dinner. we also have 3 dogs (2 golden retrievers and a corgi), all friendly, just part of the mix. light household help like dishes, kids’ laundry, tidying toys, and occasional things like vacuuming — just helping keep things moving, not deep cleaning. schedule will likely be tues/thurs afternoons, but may vary a bit week to week depending on what we have going on. we’re really just looking for someone easygoing, good with kids, and naturally helpful — someone who jumps in vs needing a lot of direction.
