Nanny in San Mateo for 16 month old boy Hi there! We are looking for a professional, experienced nanny for our 16 month old son in San Mateo (borderline Foster City). We’re hoping to find someone warm, reliable, and highly engaged who truly enjoys supporting young children’s development and building a long term relationship with our family. Location: San Mateo near Mariners Start date: As soon as possible Start of day: 7:00 AM End of day: Open for discussion Total hours: Approximately 32 hours per week with some options for more Pay: Highly competitive, based on experience and qualifications. Paid federal holidays, 5 sick days and two weeks paid vacation (one week of your choosing, one week of our choosing). Our son has moderate laryngomalacia and reflux, so CPR certification is non negotiable. Despite this, he is a very happy, joyful, and curious little boy. We are looking for someone who brings both a nurturing presence and a thoughtful, developmentally informed approach to caregiving. Qualifications: Significant experience caring for infants and toddlers (references required) Strong knowledge of early childhood development and ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities that support language, motor development, and curiosity Warm, patient, and genuinely loving with children while maintaining professionalism and reliability Highly engaged and attentive (reading, play, outdoor time, and encouraging independent exploration) CPR certified and vaccinated Comfortable with light child related household tasks (dishes, folding baby clothes, meal prep for him) We value reliability, strong communication, and a professional approach to childcare, and hope to find someone who enjoys partnering with parents to support a child’s growth and development. We also have a very friendly 5 year old golden retriever who loves people. No pet care is required, we simply ask that you’re comfortable around dogs and are kind to him.
