Reliable Friday Day-Sitter Needed (Potential for Full-Time/Special Needs Care) ​About Our Family: We are a loving family looking for a dependable, engaging babysitter for our 4-year-old daughter. She is incredibly sweet but can be a bit shy at first. Once she warms up to you, her energy levels go up and she loves to play! We also have an 11-year-old son who is non-verbal and autistic. While the primary focus of this role is currently our daughter, we are looking for someone who is comfortable eventually expanding their role to care for both children. ​The Schedule: ​Current Need: Fridays during the day (roughly 4–6 hours, timing flexible). ​The Goal: We are looking for "day date" coverage initially, with the intent to increase frequency to other days/evenings as the bond with our family grows. ​Responsibilities: ​Engaging our 4-year-old in age-appropriate play, crafts, or outdoor time. ​Preparing light snacks or lunch. ​Building a trusting relationship with both children. ​Requirements: ​Experience with preschoolers/toddlers. ​Experience (or a strong willingness to learn) with non-verbal children and/or the autism community. ​Reliable transportation and punctuality. ​Patient, high-energy, and compassionate personality.
