About this nanny job

Hi! My name is Vanessa & our family is looking for someone to be a longterm nanny for our 3 children. M is 6yo (Kinder), J is 5yo (TK) and C is 1yo. M & J go to Mound. We need someone to help primarily with C, but there will be times it could be any combination of the 3. My husband works full time for the City of Santa Barbara so he leaves early & comes home in the evening. He flexes (is home every other Friday), so we would not need someone on those Friday's. I have a hybrid job, where I'm working from home half the time and only in the office 3 afternoons a week. Primarily we would need someone to be with the kids W, Th, F from 12:30-5:30. There would be some mornings or afternoons any day of the week for an hour or two depending on offsite meetings - these meetings would be scheduled in advance. For example the first Friday of each month I have a meeting from 7:45am-10:00am so we would need someone here by 7:30am. Hours may shift slightly in the fall when their school schedule changes. (we have an idea of what that will look like & can discuss if you would like). We would of course have our months/weeks planned in advance so you already have your days/hours set. We truly don't have any household responsibilities other than the care of our children as your primary focus. For M & J assisting with lunch and snacks, maybe dinner once in awhile. All meals/foods would be prepped & ready for you ahead of time. C would need the care of bottles, solids (prepped by me ahead of time), diapers and naps. We prioritize outdoor play, and aim for 20 min of homework/reading after school. We have a lot of neighborhood kids that like to play together outside. (possibly additional babysitting opportunities if you're interested). We would need someone with baby care experience for those specified areas. We would also want someone who is CPR/FA certified. At the moment we don't foresee any need for driving the kids anywhere. We do have a dog. She is only 11 lbs and 16yo. She sleeps mostly & loves belly rubs. There is no care you will need for her unless she asks you to let her in the backyard :) We are excited to find the perfect fit for our kids & be a part of our extended family.
