About this nanny job

We're a fun, laid-back family recently relocated to the Peninsula from Brooklyn for a new role at a major tech company. We're currently in temporary housing in Menlo Park and plan to settle permanently nearby — likely Redwood City, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, or Mountain View. We're looking for a warm, experienced nanny who can start with us now and stay on as we transition to our long-term home. Our daughter is the best — a super happy, social, curious baby with the cutest cheeks you've ever seen. She loves live music, meeting new people, being read to, and eating everything in sight (seriously, she's a voracious eater). She's vocal, independent, well-traveled, flexible with new environments, and sleep-trained. She's an absolute joy to be around. We're looking for someone who will be an active, engaged presence in her day — not just stroller walks, but real play, creativity, and developmental support. We want someone who's excited to help her hit her next milestones: walking, expanding her vocabulary and solids repertoire, and building confidence. Singing, reading, sensory play, outdoor exploration — we've had the most success with nannies who bring energy and ideas. We'd also love someone willing to pitch in on the household side: dishes, baby laundry, organizing play spaces, and general light tidying. Flexibility is important to us. Our schedules can shift. Sometimes we'll want to take her out ourselves during the day, sometimes one of us travels and we'll need extra hours, and occasionally we may ask for help on a Saturday or Sunday. We're always communicative and respectful of your time. We're warm, easygoing, and collaborative.
