About this nanny job

Our family is seeking a reliable, patient, and proactive caregiver to support our household Monday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We have three children: a 7-month-old baby girl, a 2-year-old boy, and a 6-year-old boy. The primary role is to assist our children’s grandmother, who is present in the home and provides care for the infant but requires support with certain tasks due to limited mobility. Key Responsibilities: • Assist grandmother with care of the 7-month-old (e.g., lifting, carrying, feeding support, diaper changes if needed) • Pick up the two older children (ages 2 and 6) from school/daycare around 3:00 PM and safely transport them home • Supervise and engage the children in age-appropriate activities (playtime, reading, light educational activities) • Prepare simple snacks and/or light meals for the children • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the kids • Assist with light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, washing bottles/dishes used during shift, etc.) • Help facilitate a smooth afternoon/evening routine Ideal Candidate: • Has prior experience caring for infants and young children (multiple children preferred) • Is dependable, punctual, and communicative • Comfortable working in a home where a family member is present • Holds a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (vehicle preferred or ability to use family vehicle. • Warm, attentive, and able to take initiative Additional Details: • Location: Los Angeles • Hours: Monday–Thursday, 1pm–6pm • Start Date: April 27th • Compensation: $28/hr
