About this nanny job

Our family is looking for part-time care for our almost 8 month old baby Juni starting in May or June. We are hoping to form a long-term relationship with someone that can be Juni’s babysitter for at least the next year. Here is what we are looking for: A warm, gentle, responsive care provider that is experienced with babies. Primary tasks related to Juni would be playtime, taking her out in the neighborhood, feeding, and getting her down for naps. I primarily work from home, so will be around most days to check in with Juni and nurse her down for naps if I am not out of the house. While not focused on Juni, we are looking for someone willing to do some light housework, including dishes, meal prep and to play with our 5 year old if she is home from school. Ideal Candidate: Very experienced and comfortable with babies, open to baby wearing (Juni mostly likes the stroller, but sometimes needs a carry!), reliable, punctual, proactive with household tasks when not caring for the baby, kind, gentle, patient, and an open communicator. Ideal schedule: Monday 10 am to 5 pm and Wednesday 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday might be an option as well. Would love to eventually have one date night a month as well! We live in the Mission and parking is available. Pay rate is $30/hr A bit about our family: Shannon (Mama) - I am a birth doula and photographer and really enjoy connecting with people, sharing laughs, cooking and being a mama. Jim (Papa) - local business owner (Outer Shell bike bag company), loves biking, playing with his kids and building community. Marlowe (big sis, 5.5 yrs) - hilarious, spicy and very sweet. Loves magnatiles, dancing, singing, being a big sister (most of the time) and puzzles. Juni (baby, 8 mo) - just learned to crawl, very social, loves being out in the world, super chill and sweet. Currently enjoying all the new food exploration. Not a fan of diaper changes or getting her clothes on! Thanks for considering!
