About this nanny job

We are a family of three looking for a dependable and loving nanny to take care of our son Beau (17 months). He is a curious and sweet little boy who loves the outdoors (just like his parents!) What are the job details? · Start: June 15th; seeking an initial commitment through September/October 2026 · Hours: 40 hours / week, guaranteed · Schedule: Either Mon-Fri: 8/8:30 am – 4/4:30 pm OR Mon-Thurs: 8am-4:30pm / Fri: 10:30am-4:30pm · Rate: Targeting $27-$30 per hour · Benefits: Paid vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays · Location: North Beach, near Golden Gardens Park · Other: Mileage will be reimbursed at the current IRS mileage rate. What are the responsibilities? · Active engagement with Beau and age-appropriate activities · Preparing and feeding lunches and snacks (usually leftovers) · Taking Beau on outings (e.g., zoo, park, aquarium, library, music class), going on neighborhood walks, and spending time outside · Light child-related chores, if time permits Who is our ideal nanny? · Is dependable, punctual, and a good communicator · Is first aid/infant CPR certified (or willing to get certified) · Is up-to-date on vaccinations · Is a non-smoker (including vaping) · Has reliable transportation w/ a clean driving record and car insurance and willing to drive Beau on outings · Has excellent references and comfortable undergoing a background check Dad works from home and mom occasionally works from home. Their office is in a detached unit and they will remain out of your way.
