About this nanny job

We’re a young family based in Cow Hollow looking for a warm, responsible, and engaging nanny to help care for our kids this summer, with the potential for flexibility beyond that. We live in one of the most fun, walkable neighborhoods—close to the water, parks, playgrounds, and great cafés and shops. There are lots of young families in the area, along with a strong community of nannies, so it’s a very social and supportive environment. Our schedule is generally Monday–Friday, roughly 8:30am–5:30pm, with some flexibility depending on the week. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, kind, and genuinely enjoys spending time with young children—someone who can create a fun, active, and nurturing daily routine (parks, walks, library outings, etc.). In addition to childcare, we’re looking for help with light household support related to the kids—laundry, keeping play areas and common spaces tidy, and helping keep things running smoothly day-to-day. We’ll also be spending time in Lake Tahoe this summer, so we’re looking for someone who is open to travel and excited about a mix of city life and time outdoors. For the right fit, we’re also open to a live-in arrangement if preferred. We value clear communication, flexibility, and a positive, easygoing attitude.
