Looking for a fun, responsible and reliable part-time summer nanny to help care for, entertain and shuttle our 6 and 9 year old girls. Responsibilities include playing with the girls (and helping clean up/getting the girls to clean up), supervising swimming and play dates, taking them on outings and to/from scheduled activities, and prepping/serving lunch in coordination with Mom. Our 6 year old loves being outside, hunting for critters, and elaborate pretend/imaginative play. Our 9 year old enjoys athletic activities, art/drawing/journaling, being with friends, and outings. Both girls enjoy music/dancing and arts & crafts. We have a multi-generational household with live-in grandparents and a goofy 3 year old Labrador retriever - must love dogs because the girls do and will want to take him on adventures. Mom and Dad both work from home (part-time for Mom). Must be willing to complete background check. Lifeguarding experience a plus. HOURS/TIMES: 30 hours/week, Monday - Friday 10AM-4PM DATES: June 15 - July 14, July 27 - Aug 6 (off July 15-24) LOCATION: Sterling near Rte 7/Fairfax Co Pkwy intersection DRIVER/CAR: Driver's license with good driving record required. Car not required - we will provide one of ours to transport the girls - but must have reliable transportation to/from our house. RATE: $25/hourNanny job details
