About this nanny job

We are a family with five children, but ongoing care will primarily be for my 3-year-old son. He is smart, social, and communicates well, but he requires close supervision at all times due to a history of elopement (wandering/running off). Safety is my top priority. Responsibilities include: • Keeping my son within sight at all times (no distractions like excessive phone use) • Engaging him in age-appropriate learning activities (reading, play, basic teaching like colors, numbers, etc.) • Preparing simple meals/snacks • Assisting with his daily routine (playtime, rest, etc.) • Maintaining a calm, patient, and gentle approach Ideal caregiver: • Experienced with toddlers and/or children with high energy or safety needs • Very attentive, reliable, and proactive about safety • Patient, nurturing, and enjoys teaching/interactive play (not just supervision) Additional notes: • Some days may include helping during appointments or occasional events (like my graduation) with multiple children present, but regular care is mainly for my son. • We have home safety measures in place (locks, sensors, etc.) that must always be followed • I am looking for someone I can trust completely with my child’s safety and development
