About this nanny job

Looking for a mother's helper to entertain kiddos while I (Kayla) work from home! Michael and Rose are very sweet, well behaved, creative kiddos who play very nicely together. We are looking for someone who can engage them in crafts, activities, play outside, and feed them lunch. Michael is potty trained; Rose is getting there. Ideally someone would arrive between 8a-9a and get the kids through their lunch. We also have a newborn (Catie) who will be with me during the day, hanging out and napping. We do have a friendly German Shepherd so comfort with a canine buddy is preferred! Though if you are not a dog fan, we can easily crate her during your time here. A bit more about the kids - Michael is 4, loves all things science/engineering related, and is a complete sweetheart. He looks out for his little sister Rose (refilling her water cup, etc) and loves to sing, play with play dough, and work on crafts. Rose is a spunky, sweet gal who always needs her best buddy (her teddy bear) within sight. She is more boisterous than Michael but is content to quietly sit and flip through books by herself for 45 minutes. Current favorite hobbies include watering the emerging flowers in the garden, playing with her toy kitchen, building with magna tiles, and more reading. We value a warm environment, but one where children understand that the adults are in charge, not them. We are hoping to find someone who is kind not afraid to gently but firmly enforce important boundaries, when needed. Also, someone who will be creative and come up with activities, games, crafts, etc, to engage the kiddos. Build forts, do puzzles, read books! Our kids love it all. We hope you will consider coming and helping our family!
