Full-Time Nanny — Upper East Side Family with 9-Month-Old Position: Full-time live-out nanny Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (specific hours flexible, e.g., 9am–5pm) About Our Family We're a warm, professional family who recently relocated to NYC from Europe. Our household includes: Our daughter (currently 9 months old) — curious, social, and just starting to crawl Both parents working from home/office with international travel occasionally Our family dog — a 5-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback (~90 lbs), gentle and well-mannered, but a large breed that requires comfort and confidence around dogs What We're Looking For We're seeking an experienced, reliable nanny to be our daughter's primary daytime caregiver. The ideal candidate brings: Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience, with strong recent infant/early toddler references Comfort and genuine ease around large dogs (this is non-negotiable — please don't apply if you're uncertain about working in a home with a big dog) Current CPR and infant first aid certification Authorization to work in the US and willingness to be paid legally with a W-2 Strong English communication skills NYC references from at least two recent families (we will check) Reliability and punctuality — this is a primary care role, not occasional support Non-smoker, fully vaccinated (including flu and COVID per current CDC guidance) Day-to-Day Responsibilities Full developmental care for our daughter: feeding (breast milk/formula/solids), nap routines, diaper changes, sensory and motor play Stroller walks in Central Park and the neighborhood (weather permitting) Light meal prep for the baby and tidying of her spaces (nursery, play area, bottles, laundry related to her) Tracking feeds, naps, milestones in a shared app Coordinating with parents on routines and developmental goals Occasional accompaniment to baby classes, pediatric appointments, or playdates This is a child-focused role, not a household manager position. We have separate household help for cleaning. We're not looking for someone who also cooks family meals or runs the home.
