Our current nanny is leaving at the end of May and we're in need of someone new for the summer & next school year. I work in a school and am off work this summer. But I would like someone to get to know her and be comfortable and familiar with her for the fall. We are looking for a female caregiver for our sweet 5 year old daughter, in our home located in Barnhart. She has cerebral palsy and is visually impaired, so she walks with one hand held when outside and in new or busy environments. She communicates using an AAC device and is g-tube fed. Experience with children with disabilities is strongly preferred. Responsibilities: Helping with dressing, hygiene, and toileting support G-tube feedings (training will be provided) Using AAC for communication support Driving her to therapies (van provided) Engaging in developmental play and daily routines Requirements: At least high school diploma Reliable transportation to our home Punctual and dependable CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Must pass a background check Experience with children with disabilities strongly preferred Dependable, patient, and comfortable with hands-on care Starting pay up to $27/hr. Schedule: Monday: 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM Tuesday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM (one day TBD will be 9:15 AM – 12:30 PM due to a school trial) Friday: 9:15 AM – 4:00 PM School holidays or breaks: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (preferred when available)Nanny job details
