About this nanny job

Hi! I’m looking for a reliable, engaging, and energetic caregiver for my 7-year-old son in Los Angeles. He is bright, playful, and thrives with someone who is interactive, creative, and genuinely enjoys spending time with kids. Experience with neurodivergent children (autism/ADHD/sensory needs) is strongly preferred. Schedule (consistent weekly hours): Tuesday: 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM Thursday & Friday: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM Flexible/Optional weekend hours available (Approximately 15–20 hours per week, with consistent weekly schedule) Responsibilities: School pickup in Mid-City (must have reliable car, valid license, and insurance) Driving to and from after-school activities Active play and engagement (this is very important) Preparing simple snacks/meals Light household support (laundry, tidying, dishes) What I’m Looking For: Dependable and consistent Positive, playful, and proactive Comfortable supporting a neurodivergent child Strong communicator Enjoys being engaged, not just supervising Compensation: $25–$35/hour blended equivalent, depending on experience and fit. This position combines agency-funded hours (through Regional Center) with additional private pay hours. The schedule is structured so that compensation is competitive overall, and I’m happy to walk through the details during a call. Must be willing to complete a background check and onboarding with the Regional Center’s designated agency.
