Monday - Friday - ~33 hours/week 6:45am-8:30am 1pm-6pm, except until 5pm on Friday II) Job Description: The nanny job includes (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities: 1. Cooking and nutrition: Preparing and feeding the children’s meals and snacks. A healthy and nutritious variety is important across all food groups. 2. Bathing and personal care: Changing pull-ups, bathing, brushing teeth, and dressing children as needed, giving medication (only upon parents’ request), cleaning humidifiers, etc. 3. Social and recreational: Playing, reading, playing music, going for walks in the park, socializing with other children, going on play dates, hosting play dates, and taking children to scheduled classes (including a friend for carpool). 4. House: Generally keeping the house tidy; cleaning the kitchen after each use, putting away any dishes/pots/pans etc. on drying rack, wiping down counters; loading and unloading the dishwasher as needed; emptying trash as needed; picking up in each child’s room; picking up toys; helping child make their bed in the morning and after naps. Keep strollers and kids' mudroom lockers clean, including using a dust buster to clean their shoe drawers. 5. Errands: light grocery shopping for kids' meals and any necessities (online or in person), buying Pull-Ups/wipes, misc. errands, including purchasing gifts for their friends' birthday parties and putting together goody bags. Shopping online and/or in person for the kids' clothing. Doing kids returns. Breaking down/recycling any of the kids' packages. 6. Laundry: Washing/ folding children’s laundry, towels, linens, and putting them away 1-2x a week. 7. Organization: Keeping the children’s rooms in proper order, including organizing their playroom, closets, and removing clothing that no longer fits, storing those that do not fit, and making us aware if a certain supply is running low. 8. Other duties and responsibilities: communicating with parents about how children are doing with activities, eating, playing, etc. and expressing any concerns about them or their behavior. IV) Paid Vacation and Holidays: Ten (10) vacation days Five (5) sick days
